The Head of Legal and Democratic Services introduced the report to Council.

Members were told changes outlined by Mr Griffiths will come into force following the Annual General meeting of Council held in May 2025.

Resolved:

·       That the move to a single cabinet member decision making process from the date of the Council’s Annual General Meeting in May 2025 (Proposal 1) be APPROVED.

·       That the process set out in Proposal 2 in respect of Single Cabinet Member Decision Making be ADOPTED.

·       That the disbanding of the Personnel Committee to take effect from the date of the Council’s Annual General Meeting in May 2025 (Proposal 3) be APPROVED.

·       That the revised Decision-Making Structure at Appendix 1 to take effect from the date of the Council’s Annual General Meeting in May 2025 (Proposal 4) be APPROVED.

·       That the Head of Legal and Democratic Services be authorised to update the Constitution of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.
