Councillor S.Jones re-affirmed his interest and withdrew from the meeting for this item.

Decisions:

1.           That the Flying Start Phase One Expansion Plan be approved for submission to the Chief Operational Officer for Swansea Bay University Health Board.

2.           That the expansion into the 3 new areas with all the elements of the Flying Start programme will commence September 2022.

Reason for Decisions:

To ensure a feasible expansion is possible within the timescales set for phase one by Welsh Government; to begin the much needed expansion of Flying Start services to other areas of need within the local authority, and to comply with Welsh Government Expansion Guidance.

Implementation of Decisions:

The decisions will be implemented after the three day call in period, which ends on Monday, 1 August 2022, 9.00.
