The Head of Legal and Democratic Services briefed Council on the legal requirements of the Local Government Act 1972 and the Constitution of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council to hold an Annual General Meeting for the civic year 2022/2023 as detailed in the circulated report.

RESOLVED:       In the light of ongoing discussions between political parties as to the make up of the Council for civic year 2022/2023 approval be granted for paragraphs (b) and (c) of paragraph 2 of the report be deferred to the next the meeting of Council.
