Members noted that the requests for dispensations under consideration at today’s meeting, if granted, would run until the remainder of this elected Council, until the first meeting of the Standards Committee following the Council Annual Meeting in 2022.

The Head of Legal Services and Monitoring Officer informed Members of two slight amendments to the circulated report. On page 24, within the Employment Dispensation schedule, Councillor M.Crawley should read Councillor M.Crowley. On page 26, Councillor D.Jones’ dispensation should refer to the Black and Minority Ethnic Community Association, and not One Voice Wales.

Members considered renewals and applications received for dispensations relating to employment and miscellaneous dispensations, as detailed in the circulated report.

RESOLVED:               (a)     That the applications for dispensations relating to Employment set out in paragraph 16 to the circulated report, be approved for the Member listed to speak and vote, and that the dispensation runs to the Standards Committee which follows the Annual Meeting of Council, 2022;

(b)     That the application for dispensation set out in paragraph 20, be approved under the circumstances listed at paragraph 21, and that the dispensation runs to the Standards Committee which follows the Annual Meeting 2022.
