That the Corporate Communications and Community Relations Strategy covering the period March 2018 to March 2020, as set out in Appendix 1 to the circulated report be approved and commended to Council for adoption, subject to the proposal of the Scrutiny Committee to add the MEP’s to the circulation list being approved.

Decision:

That the Corporate Communications and Community Relations Strategy covering the period March 2018 to March 2020, as set out in Appendix 1 of the circulated report, be approved and commended to Council for adoption, subject to the proposal of the Scrutiny Committee to add the MEP’s to the audience list.

Reason for Decision:

To ensure all sections of the community are able to access Council communications and that all sections of the community, including people who share protected characteristics are able to engage with the Council and have their voices heard.

Implementation of Decision:

That the decision will be implemented after the three day call in period.
