Decision:

That the proposed response to the Boundary Commission's revised proposals, as contained in Paragraphs 52 – 67 of the circulated report, be approved subject to an enhanced emphasis in relation to socio-economic impacts and the potential confusion for local electors diminishing engagement with the democratic process from the grassroots of Town and Community Councils through every tier of Government.    

Reason for Decision:

To allow the Council to formally respond to the Boundary Commission for Wales' consultation which is due to conclude on Monday, 11 December, 2017.

Implementation of Decision:

The decision is for immediate implementation, the Chairman of the relevant scrutiny Committee had agreed to this course of action.  There would therefore be no call in of this decision.
