Committee scrutinised the following private matters:

Cabinet Board Proposals
9.1 Procurement Tender for the Disposal of the Former Afan Lido Leisure Centre and Overflow car park site
Members received a report which contained information
regarding the procurement tender for the disposal of the former Afan Lido Leisure Centre and overflow car park site as
detailed in the private circulated report.
Members queried the market value and whether a good
offer had been received.
Members queried whether there would be an interest
from hotels. Officers confirmed that they advertised that, however there was no
interest.
Members considered the options that were detailed
within the private circulated report.
Following scrutiny the Committee were supportive of
the proposals to be considered by the Cabinet Board.
9.2 Third Quarter Performance Review 2016-17
Celtic Leisure
Members received an update on the performance of
Celtic Leisure during the third quarter 2016-17 as detailed in the private
circulated report.
It was noted that Mr.Lewis
had been appointed Chief Executive in November 2016.
Members commended the £21 for 21 price scheme for
younger persons to utilise the facilities.
Following Scrutiny the report was noted.
