Decision:
1.
That, having given due regard to the equality impact assessment, the
risk assessment, the community impact assessment, the Welsh language impact
assessment and the relevant reports as listed in the appendices/background
papers to this report, and in line with Section 53 of the School Standards and
Organisation (Wales) Act 2013, an English-medium, community School be
established to replace Groes Primary and Dyffryn School, both of which will be discontinued as of 1
September, 2018;
2.
That the Head of Transformation be given delegated authority to
implement the proposal.

These decisions are
necessary to comply with the legislative requirements to facilitate the
implementation of the proposal which will enable the Council to:
