Decisions:
1. That the requirements for competition be excluded and Rule 2.2 of the Council's Contracts
Procedure Rules be suspended;
2. That authority be given to make a direct
award to the Suppliers and for the Council to enter into contract with the Suppliers for the Supply of the Products as set out
below for a period of six months from the following dates together with an
option to extend up to a maximum of a further six months:
Soft Drinks, Crisps, Snacks and Confectionery from 1
January 2017
Alcoholic and Associated Beverages from 1 March 2017
Fruit and
Vegetables from 1 March 2017
Water
Coolers from 1 June 2017
The
decisions will be implemented after the three day call in period.
