The Minutes were noted by the Committee.

In regards to the Corporate Improvement Objective – Better Schools, Brighter Prospects – Highlight Report – Quarter 1 - Members had asked if court action against parents for non-attendance of pupils in schools had resulted in improved attendance for the pupils involved. Officers informed Members that in 15 out of the 16 cases it had resulted in improved attendance.
