Minutes:
Members were pleased to note that the currently
empty building would be utilised in such a positive way, and wished to
acknowledge the work of officers in securing the funding from Swansea
University.
Decision:
That the grant of the agreement for lease and lease
to Swansea University of part of the ground and the entirety of the first floor
of the One Stop Shop Premises, Holly
Street, Pontardawe, on the terms set out in the private circulated report, be
agreed.
Reason for Decision:
To allow the premises to be developed as a Welsh Centre for the
promotion of the Welsh language.
Implementation of Decision:
The
decision will be implemented after the three day call in period.
