following Members made declarations of interest at the start of the meeting: Councillor A.Lodwig - Urgent
Item – Application to Renew a Hackney Carriage Proprietor Licence – as he knows
of the Applicant. He did not feel this interest was prejudicial, so was able to

Minutes of the Previous Meeting Minutes: Resolved: That
the minutes of the previous meeting (formerly known as Registration and
Licensing Committee),held on the 12 May 2025, be approved as an accurate

Application to renew a hackney carriage proprietor licence Minutes: Members were asked to consider
an Application for the renewal/ grant of a Hackney
Carriage Vehicle Licence. The Driver was unable to attend
the meeting. Resolved: 1.
That after reviewing the private circulated report, hearing all
representations, and having due regard to the Council’s Taxi Licensing Policy,
Members agreed that the Licence was not capable of renewal, as they felt there
to be no exceptional circumstances to act outside of the Policy. 2.
The grant of a new Licence was APPROVED, with the wheelchair
accessible condition exemption. |

were asked to consider an application for the grant of a hackney carriage and
private hire driver licence. The
Applicant attended the meeting. Resolved: That
