opportunities available within the programme and to secure the most beneficial
option for the Council, be granted. Reason for Decisions: To access Welsh Government Sustainable Communities
for Learning Programme grant funding for capital projects, and subject to the
outcome of the grant funding application, implementation of the programme of
projects will enable the Council to promote high educational standards and the
fulfilment of every child’s potential.
It will also enable the Council to meet its duty to secure efficient
education in its area, Implementation of
Decisions: The decisions will be implemented after the three
day call in period, which ends on 28 November 2022 at 9.00am. There was no call

the programme develops, each project will be subject to consultation with the
respective school communities. Should a
project involve the closure of a school, formal consultation will be undertaken

and creation of a New Regional Partnership for Sport and Physical Activity in

continue working in partnership with Sport Wales, and secure funding for the
Active Young People Programme. Ensuring there is the right support and
opportunities in place for those who are not regularly physically active - with
a clear focus on removing barriers for those who need most help. Implementation of Decision: The
