The following member made a declaration of interest at the start of the meeting:

 

Councillor Charlotte Galsworthy    Re: Items 5 - Commissioning Of Care And Support Services In A ‘Step Up To Step Down’ Scheme, 6 - Arrangements for the Provision of Domiciliary Care Services, 9 - . Contractual Arrangements for the Prevention and Wellbeing Service as her daughter works within the Wellbeing Team. It was noted that this was a personal interest.

Access to Meetings to resolve to exclude the public for the following item(s) pursuant to Section 100A(4) and (5) of the Local Government Act 1972 and the relevant exempt paragraphs of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the above Act.

RESOLVED:

that pursuant to Section 100A(4) and (5) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded for the following items of business which involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph of Part  of  14 Schedule 12A to the above Act.

To select appropriate private items from the Cabinet Board agenda for Pre-Decision Scrutiny (Cabinet Board reports enclosed for Scrutiny Members)

The Committee scrutinised the following Private Cabinet Board items:

 

Contractual Arrangements for the Prevention and Wellbeing Service

 

To request that Members suspend Rule 11 of the Contract Procedure Rules (CPRs) and grant permission for the Head of Adult Services to enter into a new contract with for the continued provision of the Prevention and Wellbeing Service (PAWS), as detailed within the private report.

 

Following Scrutiny, the recommendation was supported to Cabinet Board.
