To resolve to exclude the public for the following items pursuant to Regulation 4 (3) and (5) of Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 2290 and the relevant exempt paragraphs of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972.

Substance Misuse Counselling Service - Western Bay Area Planning Board (Exempt under Paragraph 14)

That having had due regard to the integrated impact assessment, the authority is to be granted to enter into a new contract with Platform for the delivery of the CWTCH within the Western Bay region. The contract price will be £276,958 per annum. The new contract will start on the 1st August 2023 and run to 31 March 2025, with the option to extend for two12-month extension periods. The total value of the new contract for the 19-month period is £438,516.83 net of VAT.

 

That the report is noted for information that, in accordance with Contract Procedure Rule 7.2.exclude the requirement for competitive tendering as provided for under CPR 7.1.4 on the basis that the proposed Contract is the provision of services of a specialised nature which are carried out by only one Contractor.
