Since
the introduction of a nationwide “lockdown” the public toilets across the
Authority have been closed. This report seeks to reopen the public toilets
and takes action to not only protect members of the public from the
transmission of Covid -19, but also the staff that
are required to clean and maintain these facilities.
That
the public toilets specified within the report be reopened on 13 July 2020,
with amended opening hours and increased cleaning in place, together with
appropriate signage to enable users to make informed decisions and maximise
their health and safety.
