The Experimental Traffic Regulation Order is required as part of the offsite mitigation works conditioned in relation to Planning Application No P2019/5304 (ALDI supermarket development) on Neath Abbey Road and the internal access road now known as Ffordd Yr Hen Gaer.

Approval to advertise was previously sought at the 24th September 2021 Streetscene and Engineering Cabinet Board.  The developer has changed the extent of the access road and brought forward the store opening.

Having had due regard to the integrated impact assessment approval be granted to implement the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order of Neath Abbey Road and Ffordd Yr Hen Gaer, Neath – Proposed Experimental No Waiting, Loading and Unloading At Any Time Order 2021 (as detailed in Appendix A to the attached report).
