Agenda and minutes

Agreed that Cllr. C. Carol Clement-Williams be appointed Chairperson for the meeting.

No Declarations of Interest were received.

That the minutes of the 12^th May, 2^nd June, 30^th June and the 28^th July 2021 be approved.

Decisions:

1.      That FAN Community Alliance continue to be provided with existing grant of £2,250 pa until the 19^th December 2022.  Thereafter a grant of £2,450 pa will be provided until the next rent review towards the cost of rent of £2,750 pa in relation to the Lease of Maes Y Ffynon Hall, Neath.

2.      That Ynysmaerdy Bowls Association continue to be provided with existing grant of £650pa until the 5^th October 2022.  Thereafter a grant of £665 pa will be provided until the next rent review towards the cost of rent of £715 pa in relation to the Lease of Ynysmaerdy Bowls Pavilion at Briton Ferry Welfare Ground.

3.      That Pontardawe Town AFC continue to be provided with existing grant of £600 pa until the 31^st July 2022.  Thereafter a grant of £610 pa will be provided until the next rent review towards the cost of rent of £660 in relation to the Lease of Parc Ynysderw Pontardawe.

4.      That Blaenhonddan Community Council be granted £6,200 pa from 2^nd November 2021, tenants paying the shortfall and VAT for the cost of rent £6,000pa in relation to the Lease of Aberdulais Community Centre.

Reason for Proposed Decisions:

To agree the financial support in respect of grant applications received.

Implementation of Decisions:

The decision will be implemented after the three day call in period.
