That the Minutes of the previous meeting of Cabinet (Finance) Sub Committee, held on 16 January, 2019, be approved.

Report of the Director of Finance and Corporate Services

Minutes:

The Chair advised the Sub Committee of an error in the circulated report. Wards affected should be ‘Port Talbot’ instead of ‘Taibach’.

 

Decision:

 

That grant assistance of £1,050.00 towards the annual rent of £1,050.00 per annum for Lease of Changing Room Pavilion at Talbot Park Taibach Memorial Park, Port Talbot, subject to review in line with rent reviews, be approved.

 

Reason for Decision:

 

To decide on providing financial support in respect of the grant application received. 

 

Implementation of Decision:

 

The decision will be implemented after the three day call in period.

Decision:

 

That the grant funding from Welsh Government be accepted (as detailed in the circulated report) and the High Street and Retail Rates Relief Scheme for 2019/20 be adopted.

 

Reason for Decision:

 

To enable the Business Rates Team to administer the High Street and Retail Rates Relief Scheme 2019/20.

 

Implementation of Decision:

 

The decision will be implemented after the three day call in period.
