To ensure sustainable good quality supported living schemes are available to meet the needs of adults in Neath Port Talbot with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

2.           That approval be granted for Officers to enter into discussions with the provider detailed within the private, circulated report, to help shape future delivery of older people’s accommodation in Glynneath.

Reasons for Decisions:

To work with a partner organisation to develop suitable accommodation to meet the long term social care needs of older people living in Glynneath and the wider Neath Port Talbot communities, and to ensure a sustainable range of good quality adult social care services are available to meet the needs of the most vulnerable citizens of Neath Port Talbot.
