·       Concrete repairs as per estimate received - £125,000 to £150,000 excluding access.

 

·       Redecoration in masonry paint internal estimate £80,000 excluding access.

 

·       A full refurbishment of the existing toilets as they are currently laid out fitting waterproof wall panels, resin flooring and improving the ceiling insulation.

 

·       Redevelopment of the internal courtyard, remembrance garden and installation of exit canopy.

 

 

 

 

Minutes:

Officers gave an update on the Capital Work Programme, as detailed in the circulated report.

 

Resolved:

 

 

1.     A full refurbishment of the existing toilets as they are currently laid out fitting waterproof wall panels, resin flooring and improving the ceiling insulation.

 

2.     Concrete repairs as per estimate received - £125,000 to £150,000 excluding access.

 

3.     Redecoration in masonry paint internal estimate £80,000 excluding access.

 

4.     Redevelopment of the internal courtyard, remembrance garden and installation of exit canopy. Officers explained they will go through planning for listed building consent, if this is approved, then they would have five years to complete the project.

 

In relation to the Highway Surfacing, Members asked for more information and wanted Officers to look at the legality of the junction access point coming into the Crematorium, also to look at the liability between the Cemetery and NPTCBC. Officers agreed the Highway Surfacing will be dealt when they have more information.
