Application for Grant of a Street Trading Consent - Case 1 Minutes: Members were asked to consider an application for the grant of a Street
Trading Consent where the applicant has unspent convictions. CASE 1 The applicant was present at the meeting. RESOLVED: that
the application for a Street Trading Consent be refused. |

Urgent Item Minutes: Because
of the need to deal now with the matter contained in Minute No. 5 below, the
Chairman agreed that this could be raised at today’s meeting as an Urgent Item
pursuant to Section 100B (4) (b) of the Local Government Act 1972. Reason: Due to the time element. |

Urgent Item - Hackney Carriage Private Hire Vehicle Licensing - Case 2 Minutes: Members
were asked to consider an application for the grant of a hackney carriage /
private hire driver licence, where the applicant did not meet the DVLA group 2
medical standards as he suffered from diabetes controlled by insulin. CASE 1 The
applicant was present at the meeting RESOLVED: that the
item be deferred to a future meeting of the Registration
and Licensing Committee, subject to additional information specifically related
to the applicant driving a licensed Hackney Carriage. |

to licensing matters for the period 2014 – 2015. RESOLVED: that
the report be noted. |
