Hackney Carriage Roof Signs - Advertising PDF 316 KB Minutes: Members
were asked to consider a request from Mr Tam of Lucha
Tech, who wished to supply LED roof signs for Hackney Carriage vehicles which
incorporated Advertising. Mr
Tam presented the LED roof signs at the meeting along with his Father. The
Committee then adjourned in order to reach its decision, before all parties
returned to the meeting. RESOLVED: that the request from Mr Tam
of Lucha Tech to supply LED roof signs, be refused. |

Dog Breeding Conditions PDF 504 KB Minutes: Members
were informed about new regulations in respect of dog breeding conditions, with
a view to carrying out a consultation exercise. On
the 30th April 2015 The Animal Welfare
(Breeding of Dogs) (Wales) Regulations 2014 came into force. The Licensing
Officer clarified the main changes, as detailed in the circulated report. RESOLVED: that the Welsh Local
Authority Licence Conditions be issued for consultation with interested parties
and a further report be presented to members. |

Draft Taxi Licensing Policy PDF 6 MB Minutes: Members
were asked to consider the adoption of an overarching taxi licensing policy
with a view to issuing it for consultation purposes. The
Licensing Officer gave Members an overview of the main changes within the
consultation. RESOLVED: that the draft licensing
policy be approved for consultation, but
representation be restricted to those parts as detailed in paragraph 5.0. |

were provided with copies of the GA publication ‘Taxi and PHV Licensing –
Councillors Handbook’. The
Licensing officer advised that the Handbook had been developed to assist
members in understanding some of the key issues concerning taxi and PHV
Licensing. RESOLVED: that the report be noted |
