Decision:

Councillor A. Richards welcomed all to the meeting. The Committee were informed, agenda item 7 would be reviewed prior to agenda item 6.

Decision:

The following declarations of interest were received,

 

Cllr S. Paddison

Against agenda item 6 – The interest was not deemed personal or prejudicial, therefore Cllr Paddison remained in the meeting and proceeded to take part in the voting.

 

Cllr. A. Lodwig

Against agenda item 6 – The interest was not deemed personal or prejudicial, therefore Cllr Lodwig remained in the meeting and proceeded to take part in the voting.

That pursuant to Section 100BA (2) and (7) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded for the following items of business which involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 12 and 15 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the above Act.

Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver Licensing - Case 1

Decision:

The Licensing Manager provided the Committee with an overview to the private circulated report.

Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver Licensing - Case 2

Decision:

The Licensing Manager provided the Committee with an overview to the private circulated report.

 

The driver was in attendance and addressed the Committee.

 

The Licensing Manager provided the Committee with an overview to the private circulated report.

 

The driver was in attendance and addressed the Committee.

 

Decision:

That after hearing all representations and reviewing the private circulated report, the driver be issued with a warning letter. The Committee also requested that the driver be encouraged to read the Equality Act 2010 literature and, if available, to attend a course regarding the same.
