Renewal of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver Licence - Item 1 - Case 1

Members determined the application be APPROVED, with a warning letter to remind the driver that set speed limits must always be adhered to and that speed awareness is recognised in a position of trust and professionalism.

The Licensing Manager provided the Committee with an overview to the private circulated report.

 

The applicant was in attendance.

Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver Licensing - Item 2 - Case 2

Decision:

Members determined to APPROVE the application, and the driver issued with a warning letter with no further action taken in respect of their Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licence. The warning letter is to remind the driver that:

 

1.    Their taxi driving licence badge must always be fully displayed.

 

2.    All doors are firmly closed upon exit of all passengers from the vehicle.

 

3.    A courteous manner must always be provided to each customer.
