Decision:
That
the West Glamorgan Safeguarding Boards Joint Annual Business Plan 2019/20,
attached as Appendix 1 to the circulated report, be approved.
Minutes:
It
was noted that regarding the Integrated Impact Assessment, the report said that
“There is no requirement to undertake an Integrated Impact Assessment as this
report is for monitoring/ information purposes”, but Members queried this, as
the report was for Decision. Officers advised Members that this would be looked
into, and reported back outside the meeting.
Decision:
That
the West Glamorgan Safeguarding Boards Joint Annual Business Plan 2019/20,
attached as Appendix 1 to the circulated report, be approved.
Reason for Decision:
To comply with the regulations within the Social
Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014, that
Safeguarding Boards are required to produce and publish an annual business plan
by 31 March each year.
Implementation of Decision:
The
decision will be implemented after the three day call in period.
