Decision details

Decision:

That having had due regard to the integrated impact screening assessment, delegated authority be granted to the Head of Property and Regeneration to commence the work necessary to prepare for Compulsory Purchase Order powers to be utilised by Neath Port Talbot Council in respect of the land detailed within the private, circulated report, to facilitate the UK Government Levelling Up Fund Project and that a report be brought back to Cabinet to agree the Compulsory Purchase Order at the appropriate time.

Reasons for Proposed Decision:

To ensure that the Council is able to deliver the Newbridge Active Travel Link and Dock Access LUF project.

Implementation of Decision:

The decision will be implemented after the three day call in period.
